We want to inform you that water service will be temporarily shut off due to a water main leak in your area. Our crews are already on-site and working to make repairs as quickly and safely as possible.

“Due to a recent issue affecting our water system, a precautionary boil advisory is now in effect for customers in the affected service area. Until further notice, please boil all water for at least one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, or brushing teeth.
This advisory is being issued out of an abundance of caution while we conduct water quality testing. We will notify you as soon as the advisory is lifted.

Dear Residents,
Our trash collection service will only pick up the trash can(s) assigned to and paid for under your account.
To ensure your trash is collected:
• Please place only your assigned can(s) at the curb on your scheduled pickup day.
• Additional cans or loose bags will not be collected unless you have arranged and paid for
extra service in advance.
If you need an additional can or wish to upgrade your service, please contact the town hall at
318-326-4234.

The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s office has changed the days available to the Town of Plain Dealing for Officer Day and its crew. They will be here 2 days every month (every two weeks). Their primary duties will be to mow the Plain Dealing Cemetery and other duties (within reason).
Curbside pickup for limbs, sticks, discarded matter and debris will be discontinued 06/30/2025. Receptacle Containers are located at 205 W. Palmetto Ave for non-household items (the hours are from 7:00a – 3:30p).
There is a disposal site for limbs located at the Plain Dealing Cemetery (contact our Superintendent at 318-458-7658) before going to site. If you have any questions, please call 318-453-5500. Thank you
