Good morning residents:
If you reside on Louisiana 3 and the Northern communities, your garbage pick-up schedule has changed to Wednesday pick-up. Other areas will remain on Thursdays pick-up. If your garbabge has been missed, please leave your garbage can at the curb so the garbage company pick-up the garbage on Friday.

The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s office has changed the days available to the Town of Plain Dealing for Officer Day and its crew. They will be here 2 days every month (every two weeks). Their primary duties will be to mow the Plain Dealing Cemetery and other duties (within reason).
Curbside pickup for limbs, sticks, discarded matter and debris will be discontinued 06/30/2025. Receptacle Containers are located at 205 W. Palmetto Ave for non-household items (the hours are from 7:00a – 3:30p).
There is a disposal site for limbs located at the Plain Dealing Cemetery (contact our Superintendent at 318-458-7658) before going to site. If you have any questions, please call 318-453-5500. Thank you
