The water leak on S. Arkansas St has been repaired. Water pressure will be coming up shortly.

Contractors have drilled into our water line on S. Arkansas St (between Palmetto and Crabapple). Some customers will experience low water pressure. Our water department is aware of the situation and are working on repairs.

The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s office has changed the days available to the Town of Plain Dealing for Officer Day and its crew. They will be here 2 days every month (every two weeks). Their primary duties will be to mow the Plain Dealing Cemetery and other duties (within reason).
Curbside pickup for limbs, sticks, discarded matter and debris will be discontinued 06/30/2025. Receptacle Containers are located at 205 W. Palmetto Ave for non-household items (the hours are from 7:00a – 3:30p).
There is a disposal site for limbs located at the Plain Dealing Cemetery (contact our Superintendent at 318-458-7658) before going to site. If you have any questions, please call 318-453-5500. Thank you
