This is friendly reminder to place your garbage can near the curbside or roadside the evening before your scheduled pick-up. Pick-ups can occur early in the morning so setting them out the night before prevents missed collections. Per our current waste contract, please make sure that all garbage is in bags.
Note: The driver is not allowed to get out of the truck and cannot be sent back for missed pickups.

The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s office has changed the days available to the Town of Plain Dealing for Officer Day and its crew. They will be here 2 days every month (every two weeks). Their primary duties will be to mow the Plain Dealing Cemetery and other duties (within reason).
Curbside pickup for limbs, sticks, discarded matter and debris will be discontinued 06/30/2025. Receptacle Containers are located at 205 W. Palmetto Ave for non-household items (the hours are from 7:00a – 3:30p).
There is a disposal site for limbs located at the Plain Dealing Cemetery (contact our Superintendent at 318-458-7658) before going to site. If you have any questions, please call 318-453-5500. Thank you
