The Town of Plain Dealing Water System is currently in violation of the treatment technique requirements for minimum residual disinfectant level as set forth by the State (Part XII of the Louisiana State Sanitary Code). Although this incident is not an emergency, as our customers, you have a right to know what happened and what we are doing to correct this situation.

The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s office has changed the days available to the Town of Plain Dealing for Officer Day and its crew. They will be here 2 days every month (every two weeks). Their primary duties will be to mow the Plain Dealing Cemetery and other duties (within reason).
Curbside pickup for limbs, sticks, discarded matter and debris will be discontinued 06/30/2025. Receptacle Containers are located at 205 W. Palmetto Ave for non-household items (the hours are from 7:00a – 3:30p).
There is a disposal site for limbs located at the Plain Dealing Cemetery (contact our Superintendent at 318-458-7658) before going to site. If you have any questions, please call 318-453-5500. Thank you
